Hahnel I’m Simone and I’m an introvert does that mean I hate people no does I mean I’m awkward well I’m awkward but that’s not because I’m an introvert and does that mean that I am not going at all no I want to give you the real definition of what it means to be an introvert should just spell the myths because I think that there’s a lot of misunderstandings around what it means so here’s my simple definitions say you love to swim you could swim all day long but at the end of the day you need to get out of the water because otherwise you’re gonna be exhausted and you’re gonna drown for introverts socializing is like swimming or climbing or playing tennis or whatever you can do it all day long you may love it you may not like it whatever but you can’t do it forever after well you need to charge your batteries so basically being introverted means that socializing takes energy away from you whereas being extroverted means that socializing gives you energy so the only difference between introverts and extroverts really is where the energy is coming from for one group it takes energy a way to be social for the other group it gives some energy so introverts are not inherently by definition awkward or taciturn or really really hateful of other people just means that it takes energy to be social so I hope that this helps you if you’re an introvert explain why sometimes you need to be alone it’s not because you would hate people per se although maybe you do it’s because you just need to rest and if you’re an extrovert I hope it helps you understand why maybe some of your introverted friends don’t always want to hang out or do something that lasts all day long introverts are people too and we should all just understand each other and get along I hope that my explanation has helped you and that maybe you can pass it on to other people to help people better understand what it used to be introverted because introverts are super cool people and we deserve some understanding in modern societies.
